The fiber-ceramic sampler (sampling spoon) is suitable for the sampling of melt iron or other chemically compatible molten metals. The chemically inert fiber ceramics guarantee unaltered precise measuring results when preparing samples for spectrometry/Leco, or when determining the mechanical properties doing thermal analysis. Due to the good insulation of the sampler, the sample does not cool down during the handling process thus enabling real-life conditions. When correctly applied, the fiber-ceramic sampler is very durable and has a low tare weight. It has to be applied without coating as this would adulterate the sample.
